Our nationally recognised Certificate II in Security Operations provides individuals with the skills and knowledge required to obtain a security/guard licence, and to work in the security industry. Career opportunities within the Security industry are quite varied and offer wide-ranging opportunities. From working at sporting events through to more traditional security officer roles, a career in security is certainly an exciting and rewarding one.

To attain the CPP20218 – Certificate II in Security Operations , 14 units of competency must be achieved:

HLTAID003Provide first aid
Successful students are required to apply to Licensing regulation Division for a licence upon completion of the course. They are also required to do a fingerprint and police check before applying for a licence. LRD will issue a licence once all documentation has been received and upon completing due diligence.
